Welcome to EDUSOLVER IO. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EDUSOLVER IO ("Service"), accessible at https://edusolver.io. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
EDUSOLVER IO is operated by an individual residing in Portugal. A formal legal entity may be added later. These Terms are governed by Portuguese law.
1. Overview of the Service
EDUSOLVER IO is an AI-powered learning assistant designed to help users study, understand concepts, practice, and improve academic performance. The Service is not intended for cheating, academic dishonesty, or bypassing institutional rules.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Academic Integrity & Anti-Cheating Policy.
To use EDUSOLVER IO, you must be 18 years old or over the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence. Individuals who have not reached the age of majority are not permitted to use the Service.
2. Accounts
- Login is provided via third-party authentication providers (such as Google, Apple) and/or email + password, as supported by the Service. We may add or remove authentication methods over time.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- You may not share, transfer, or resell your account to others.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in abuse, cheating, or violating these Terms.
3. EDUSOLVER IO PRO Subscription
EDUSOLVER IO offers an optional paid PRO mode subscription.
3.1 Subscription Types
- Monthly subscription
- Yearly subscription (discounted rate)
All subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
3.2 Included Features
PRO subscribers receive:
- Unlimited usage under a Fair Usage Policy (described in a separate document)
- Subject-specific chats
- Flashcards
- All upcoming features, such as summaries, PDF uploads, AI quizzes, and more
3.3 Availability & Restrictions
Payments are supported globally except in countries restricted by US sanctions (Cuba, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Syria).
3.4 Pricing & Taxes
- Prices are listed in USD.
- Local taxes (including VAT) may apply.
- Taxes are calculated automatically by our payment processor.
3.5 Cancellations & Refunds
Refunds are governed by a separate Refund Policy, not these Terms.

EDUSOLVER IO accepts the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards
- Google Pay
- US bank accounts (ACH)
- Cash App Pay
All payments are processed securely by our payment processor.
Prices are in USD. Local taxes (including VAT) may apply and are calculated automatically.
5. User Content
5.1 Uploaded Files & Data Retention
Users may upload files, including PDFs, images, and text. We store uploaded files until you manually delete them or delete your account. Files uploaded by unregistered (anonymous) users may be stored for up to 12 months for product improvement and system optimization.
5.2 Public Questions for Free Users
Users on the Free Plan grant EDUSOLVER IO a non-exclusive license to publish anonymized questions and AI-generated answers publicly in the Questions section. By default, we publish only text content (such as prompts and generated responses), not original uploaded files.
If any uploaded file has been historically associated with public content, you may request its removal at any time. Upon request, we will delete the file and may retain only anonymized textual data.
5.3 History & Data Removal
We store the history of questions, answers, and interactions. Users may request deletion of their data as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. AI-Generated Content
AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or misleading. EDUSOLVER IO does not guarantee correctness or suitability of generated answers.
You agree that:
- You are responsible for verifying outputs.
- EDUSOLVER IO and its providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) may process input and output data to improve models.
- Data may be used for internal training, quality monitoring, and product improvements, according to our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
Users must not submit AI-generated answers as graded academic work.
You may not use EDUSOLVER IO for:
- Cheating, academic dishonesty, plagiarism, or bypassing school/university rules
- Harmful, abusive, illegal, or malicious queries
- Actions that may harm the Service, its infrastructure, or reputation
- Circumventing usage limits or implementing technical bypasses
- Creating new accounts after being banned for violations
Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
8. Changes to the Service
- We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.
- If we update subscription prices, we will notify users 15 days in advance before new pricing takes effect.
- Existing subscriptions retain their current price until the end of the already-paid billing period.
9. Intellectual Property
All materials on the Service, including UI, branding, text, and generated content (except user-uploaded content), remain the property of EDUSOLVER IO or its licensors.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or reuse service components without permission.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if users violate these Terms, attempt to misuse the Service, or engage in prohibited activities.
Users may delete their account at any time. Data deletion procedures are described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes will be resolved in Portuguese courts unless required otherwise by consumer protection laws of your country.
