Fair Usage Policy

This Fair Usage Policy ("Policy") applies to all users of EDUSOLVER IO, including Free and PRO subscribers. Its purpose is to ensure stable performance, prevent abuse, and maintain fair access for all users.
By using EDUSOLVER IO, you agree to follow this Policy.
1. Free Plan Limits
Free users are subject to the following daily limits:
- Up to 5 AI requests per day
- Up to 5 file uploads per day (images, PDFs, documents)
These limits reset every 24 hours.
2. PRO Plan — General Fair Usage
PRO subscribers receive unlimited access within reasonable and non-abusive usage patterns.
EDUSOLVER IO monitors usage patterns to protect system stability. Excessive or automated usage may trigger temporary or permanent restrictions.
3. Examples of Normal Usage
Normal usage includes:
- Daily study sessions
- Chatting with AI about subjects
- Uploading documents for summaries
- Generating flashcards, quizzes, explanations
- Typical homework-related workloads
These activities are fully allowed and expected.
4. What Counts as Excessive or Abusive Usage
The following activities are considered beyond fair usage, especially if performed repeatedly:
4.1 Excessive Request Volume
- Very high numbers of requests per day
- Large or continuous bursts of queries
- Running automated scripts or bots
- Using EDUSOLVER IO as a backend API
4.2 Excessive Token or File Usage
- Uploading unusually large files on a daily basis
- Uploading massive PDFs (e.g., 300–400 pages) repeatedly
- Uploading multiple long audio/video files daily (e.g., 3–4 hours each) for transcription/summary
- Continuous consumption patterns resembling industrial or commercial use
4.3 Load or Abuse Risk
- Attempts to overload, stress, or benchmark the system
- Attempts to bypass rate limits or restrictions
- Using the Service to build or power commercial tools, bots, or SaaS
- Creating multiple accounts to bypass limits
- Automating hundreds of homework generations or mass content creation
- Data scraping, reverse engineering, or extraction of system behavior
- Any usage that negatively impacts system performance for others
EDUSOLVER IO retains discretion to determine whether usage is abusive.
5. Actions Taken When Abuse Is Detected
If abusive or suspicious activity is detected:
- Temporary suspension
- Manual review by the EDUSOLVER IO team
If the review confirms a violation of this Policy, EDUSOLVER IO may:
- Permanently block the account
- Prohibit the creation of new accounts
- Deny refunds for the current billing period (violations of Terms do not qualify for refunds)
Severe or repeated violations may lead to permanent bans without prior notice.
6. Rationale
Fair usage ensures:
- Stable and fast performance
- Protection against abusive traffic
- Equal access for all students
- Long-term sustainability of the Service
7. Changes to This Policy
EDUSOLVER IO may update or adjust this Policy at any time. If significant changes are made, we will update the Effective Date.
