How It Works

Step 1: Access the Half-Life Calculator
Open the nuclear chemistry calculator.

Step 2: Input Initial Amount, Final Amount, or Elapsed Time
Enter two of the four variables (initial mass, final mass, half-life, or elapsed time).

Step 3: Click 'Solve For...'
Press the button corresponding to the missing variable.

Step 4: Review the Calculated Unknown Value
The tool will display the value for the half-life, remaining amount, or time elapsed.
