How It Works

Step 1: Access the Enthalpy Change Calculator
Open the thermochemistry calculator.

Step 2: Input Heats of Formation ($\Delta H_f$) for All Reactants and Products
Enter the standard enthalpy values for all substances in the reaction.

Step 3: Click the Calculate Button
Press 'Calculate $\Delta H$'.

Step 4: Review the Total Enthalpy Change ($\Delta H$)
The tool will display the heat absorbed (endothermic) or released (exothermic) by the reaction.
