How It Works

Step 1: Access the Buffer Calculator
Open the chemistry calculator interface.

Step 2: Input Required Final pH, Concentration of Weak Acid/Base, and $\text{pK}_a/\text{pK}_b$
Enter the desired pH and the properties of the chosen buffer system.

Step 3: Click the Calculate Button
Press 'Calculate Buffer Ratio'.

Step 4: Review the Required Ratio of Acid/Base to Conjugate
The tool will display the necessary molar ratio to achieve the target pH.
